That's crazy to see it lodge so perfectly that it would disable the peddle. My 4320 had a small box that protected the peddles that could be removed to clean it. Just a few small details kioti needs to address to make it perfectly comparable to jd.
I've had a similar stick lodge itself into the throttle cable. That was exciting.

I cannot speak to JD ownership, but Kapper can.

Hate it that Eric had to do all that handwork with the garden rake at the end, tho. He'll get better with time.

If I didn't jump out and rake something by hand nobody would believe that I'm that good. =)

Hey, Eric, are you still with us?

I've got a grapple coming (probably arrive before the new tractor!) and I need to get going on the hydraulics. Any chance you could list out all the parts you ended up using to run your extra hydraulics to the front? I only seem to see in-progress pictures; it would be nice to see pictures that show details of the completed work.

Island, I'll be looking to use one of the rear remotes: tractor was ordered with three; figure this should get me by for a while.

In that case, use a garden hose to measure from rear remote over rear axle under operator station up left FEL mount down FEL arm to torque tube and to middle of TT. Make sure the 90 degree bends are wide enough so the don't kink. That is the length of hydraulic hoses you need. I'd get a couple feet more which you can easily loop. You'll need either 1/2" or 3/8" hose. I did 1/2" with my CK20 and that was way too big. If I were in your shoes I'd do 3/8" as it takes curves better. Assuming SAE connectors on the hoses you'll need some adapters to get up to 1/2" male (3) and female (1) quick connects (Pioneer style not flat). You'll want a couple of 90 degree pieces so the hoses can drop directly down from the rear remote rather than making a big vulnerable loop to get to the rear axle.

Benefit of getting all this at a local hydraulic shop is that they can put it all together for you. No mistakes in part ordering. You would however save about 30% or more buying from Surplus Supply and they should be able to talk you through the connection issues.

You'll need to decide how to mount the hoses on the torque tube. Various options possible including zip ties temporarily.

You'll also need quick connects one male one female for the grapple end. Most likely the grapple has 1/2 connectors 1m1f but if it doesn't just make sure you order the right connections and step up adapters.

Easy peasy to put together and just zip tie into lace for a trial run. I left my CK20 lines zip ties for two years without any issue.

Yup. I'm still bouncing around.

The parts list is on an old Mac that for reasons beyond comprehension, I could not get all of my old emails converted from Apple's Mail to Microsoft's Outlook. I'd need to pull the old computer out of a box and fire it up to post the components of the parts list. I spent a fair amount of time and $2 or 3K puzzling out a better way to do it with the intension of offering a dealer solution.

Kioti didn't seem the least bit interested in having an OEM-like third function but everything from hard lines to components was top drawer and it looks like and function like something that came from the factory instead of an after-thought add-on.

At this point, I just wish that Kioti would step up and sort out my transmission popping out of gear.

There are a couple other threads I think on a 3rd function install on a NX if you look, when I did mine the only odd fitted I had to buy were the two that connected to the tractor to replace the banjo bolts in the hard line for the PB circuit. They were 1/2" BSPP if I remember correctly. I cM try and dig up what else I used.

Island (anyone else as well) - I'm curious about different options for this. I recently had my dealer install a third function kit, and the tech used heavy-duty zip ties for the hoses all the way to the front, but left them loose on the torque tube. He secured them to the tube with just a good (U.S.A. made) solid rubber bungee. It's easy to reposition, and keeps the hoses from looping down while using the grapple to where they might catch on something. But I'm wondering about other suggestions. I recall that EA, in one of its Youtube videos, now recommends against fixing the hoses to a rigid mount on the torque tube.
