I am attaching a picture of my new ZTR.
I have 3 acres (+/-) of bumpy lawn at my farm. The lawn is relatively flat, but has a lot of trees. It has been taking me 3 hours + to mow with a 42" rear-engine Snapper. Although the Snapper has been relatively trouble free, I had grown weary of the time required to mow and the aches and pains that followed. Thus, my quest for a ZTR.
I decided that I wanted a 60" deck and a Kawasaki engine. That narrowed the field, but still left many choices. One of the local dealers offered me a good deal on a Bad Boy Outlaw (one of their mid-range commercial mowers) with a 61" deck and a 31 HP air-cooled Kawasaki.
I have used it only one time to mow, but reduced my mowing time to 2 hours and I didn't feel like I had been riding a mechanical bull the whole time. This was my first use of a ZTR and I am sure that an experienced operator would have reduced that time considerably.
My ambition is to become sufficiently proficient in operating the ZTR so that I can teach my wife to mow with it.
