I would check on the price of EDPM roofing for RV's it might be less costly as it does not need to be non-toxic, which is a requirement for ponds.

Clean the area well so the glue will stick. And I would fold the edges down over the sides a little if possible.

Id like to know how the rubber price comes out. Id almost think that a few rafters and some metal ove rhte other side would be cheaper and could be extended in the future. where the rubber might only be used for one year till the second side goes up. Just my opinion..

1 of the places I linked to has his size for about 120.00 plus shipping, that's actually pretty cheap compared to lumber and metal.

Well, Because of all of the snow this winter, there has been no progress on my shed since January. Also, I checked the level on the container and the frame with a laser level and everything is still right on the mark. Were in the mud now with warmer days and cold nights so if no more snow arrives I'll be back to working on it next week. Frank

Another option for the roof.

Add a layer of 1/2" CDX plywood, then roofing felt and your metal roofing.

It should help prevent condensation under the roof.
