Been in the market for over a year. Looked at many brands, lurked here, and participated. For many obvious reasons Mahindra was a good buy for me. The product for the price cannot be beat in my opinion after my research. I am fortunate enough to live in NEPA near Wallace Tractor and Equipment. I visited Rick Wallace several times and stayed in contact. Rick responded to my emails and questions on the spot and I dare say was like a friend throughout the entire process. I started in the 30 HP range and it grew. I moved to a property with 21 acres and realized there's much to do. As EVERYONE on here says, get the biggest you can afford. 5035 was a little rich for my blood but man you cannot beat what you get. 50HP! and the thing is a solid beast. I got the HST model and am very glad I did. First job was spreading 22 ton of driveway gravel and I was honestly done in less than an hour. Thankfully for me the wifes pickup truck is 2" too long to fit in the garage :( Oh well, Mahindra does!

What drew me to the Mahindra and ultimately the 5035 is the small details Mahindra puts into their product standard. There is no expense spared when it comes to the little things. From the seat, rear work lights, gauge cluster, Tilt Wheel, cup holders, storage boxes, tool box, splash guards, etc... I feel like I bought the BMW of tractors for a Kia price. Everything about this tractor screams power yet is quiet, smooth and aesthetically pleasing. Yes, aesthetically pleasing, looks count low on the list but it looks awesome! I got the R4 tires and did not load them. I have a lot of plush grass fields and wanted to see what kind of damage I'd do without it. Not bad, especially since it's march yet the weather here is like may and the ground is very soft. I also ordered a 7 foot rear finish mower that hasn't arrived yet. Not having the tire loaded doesn't seem to be an issue. I was hauling full bucket loads of 2b gravel with ease. Previous property owner left some 4 foot high stumps from some evergreens that were about 10"-14"thick. Yeah, ran those things over and uprooted them with the FEL like they weren't there! I'm sure many 50HP tractors can do what I did so far with ease as well, but for the price, the features...Im not so sure..

I feel I got an a great price on the tractor to begin with and then I show up to get it and realized I forgot my check!!! I borrowed my brothers F450 dump and equipment hauler and left my cashiers check in my car. Rick Wallace said "Does this look the the face of a guy who is worried or cares"? I was baffled. I then stepped over to my new machine and Rick said, "oh by the way, I threw a nice little grill guard on there for ya". Seriously??? I went down to Wallace Tractor and Equipment today and "squared up" but needless to say showing up to pick up an expensive machine with no money and the dealer says "oh well go have fun for the weekend" is quite rare for me. Then Rick throws in a grill guard which I figured I'd pick up down the road a bit just topped it right off. When I took care of the financial side of things today I grabbed a Husqvarna 455 Rancher I've been needing. I will return to Rick Wallace for ANY power equipment I ever need. If you're in the area or even not in the area and you want a straight up honest genuine dealer that treats you like a human and a friend, then go see Rick. You can tell Rick truly enjoys what he does and enjoys his customers as much as they enjoy their machines. Thankfully this forum pointed me in his direction based on his reputation.

Now to the important part. PICTURES! I included a lot showing the small features. The clear plastic splash guards near your feet is one I thought was really cool.

Very nice ride. Don't forget to let some air out of those tires before you do to much more work. If you find that you want to load those tires, it will only add a few lbs per square inch, so it really won't hurt your grass, but will make operating the tractor oh so much nicer. ;)

Congrats.

Sure makin me wait to next year hard. The wife says before I can go get $30,000 worth of tractor and implements I have to spend $1,800 on the kids bathroom. I told her she was delaying the tractor. The kids could use our shower or I'll get a water trough for outside. She said NO! So I guess trading $1,800 for $30,000 is not bad...... Except it all comes out of my pocket......

Anyways enjoy and post more pics so I can see what I can do with my 5035 when I get it.

Thanks everyone! Yeah a bit of a tight fit. Got about a foot left length wise when I close the door. Yep 1800 for 30,000 worth not a bad trade at all. I agreed to let our cat be cremated for 150 bucks  and that got me my rde . He was a good cat even though Im not a big cat guy. But ya gotta give the little things and it will pay off in 2 and a half tons of pure power. Once I get a root grapple I may def. have to load these tires. We'll see.

Real nice. Got my eye on the same tractor as we have discussed in other threads. Looks like momma in the 4th photo is supervising and just generally giving orders. What ever it takes to get the tractor is my thought. Ill take lots of orders to geat a beast like that to play with. Ha Ha.

Only niche im finding now is the rops is a pain to take down. One pin is very tight and needs a mini sledge to knock it lose. I have to put it up and down to fit in the garage. Looks like it isn't lined up perfect.

Another pic. Shuttle a good bit of wood to split for next season today. Worked out great.

Haha! How long did you spend setting up that glamor shot? Should send it in to Mahindra....

Congrats! Very nice tractor! My next Mahindra will either be a 4035 or 5035. Just waiting for the day my spousal unit will agree to it.

Haha...honestly the wood was already stacked and I drove out of the woods with the logs and the saw right where it is. I put the loader down and went to get a drink. I turned back and said "dang, that looks like a brochure". So it was not intentionally done but funny how it sure looks that way lol.
