Kubota M5040 (2011) & Kubota BX2660
Well finally made the leap from a Kubota 7610 to a full size utility tractor and a John Deere 4320. Just had too many issues with my 05 Kubota, and needed something a bit more capable. I purchased the 4320 w/ a 400CX loader w/ 72 bucket, pallet forks, 448 back hoe w/ 18" bucket, 6' frontier brush hog, and 6' frontier box blade, and a LX140 riding lawn mower. (38220.00) I hope the John Deere lives up to its reputation and stays reliable. They hope to deliver it either Friday or Saturday for me. Only thing missing was tooth bar for bucket and a chipper/shredder, but didn稚 want to push it over what I climbed it to already. Maybe in a year or so after verify JD reliablity.

Congrats, you'll like it. Sounds like you got all the toys too. (I'm still trying to figure out how to justify a backhoe.)

When I saw the pic, I thought, "Hey he has other Deere equipment" then I figured your at the dealer. Pardon me for looking at the pic prior to reading...

Enjoy. Let us know how you like it after putting some hours on it. Now you can learn how to use the brakes to help you steer like the big boys do.

Cool deal.

What kind of chipper are you going to get?

What kind of problems did you have with the Kubota?

D.

I really have looked into a lot of chipper information but I do know I only want to pay around 2k for one. I am willing to drive roughly 8 -10 hours to pick it up to save shipping cost. This is actually a selling point for my wife that I can take her away for the weekend, just pulling a trailer.

The Kubota had mower deck issues, (actual wheels coming off the deck), the engine would stall constantly when mowing and climbing a hill. (Keep in mind only had a 54" deck), had broken off a couple of hydraulic couples, Bent loader, mower deck, wheels, etc. The actual 3 point hitch back hoe was a night mare to install & remove. The mower deck was a night mare to uncouple the mid PTO shaft.

I actually talked to my John Deere dealer yesterday and inquired regarding a tooth bar cost (364). He then talked me into swapping out for my regular duty bucket to the heavy duty 73 bucket for 100.00.
