Good to know, thanks! I'm by no way calling out Hoye, as they have been nothing but excellent to me so far and are one of the reasons I bought a Yanmar! I'll talk to them. Was more so posting in their phones being down??

Yes, unfortunately there is not a lot of options when it comes to those radiators. They are actually pretty good radiators but the paint job is crappy. They are 100% new. Not very many years ago there were no radiators to be had (in any condition) so when someone started reproducing those we were very happy to see them- ugly spots and all! It would have been nice if they had taken an extra 2 minutes and done a little better paint job though.

The phones this time of year are busy in bursts. There will be no calls for 30 minutes then all of the lines are busy for 30 minutes. Especially true around the noon hour in the different time zones.

Got it, no worries Aaron! It seems well-built and it is very clean! But yes hahaha the paint job could use some work - just glad you guys had an option! I'll try calling again in a bit.

It seems to me this new radiator sits a little closer to the engine and further from the front of the tractor. Anyone else notice this? I could be wrong, should have taken a before pic!

On a side note, what size discs can I use with this thing? That'll be its main purpose really - just for food plots. We have a set where we hunt, single row - 8 or 10 discs, probably weighs 4-500 lbs. Is that about all I should pick up with it?

I use a 4' Tuffline 2 rows of discs, my 1700 pulls it easily.

Do you use a bottom plow or anything on new ground first? Or just keep going over it with those? Any weight on top?

Here's some pics - everything is in and looks great but the alternator is awful close to the fan shroud. Is this normal? Or should I trim the shroud a bit?

:laughing: it will look like factory! All kidding aside if the motor doesn't roll around much should be good. Ever look hard in the engine bay of new car and trucks and see how close everything is in there.

Good deal! Think I'm all set just need my damg PTO seal to finish. Won't be here till Monday I may see if I can find one locally tomorrow.

My gas cap leaks fuel when bounced around out the top. Any ideas? There's a removable filler screen and Yanmar cap.
