Eddie, I don't reply to all of you posts but this one caught my eye because I'm building a simple set for our church children's Christmas play.

The barn is outstanding, wish I could have attended the performance.

Though I don't reply to all as mentioned, every time I see one from you and Steph, I think "Man would I like to have them as next door neighbors."

I'm not sure what you are referring to with the spacings comment. I painted the sides of the trim red so that the white would have more depth. If it's the ends of the trim that you mean, I cut and installed the trim so that it overlaps the flat pieces to lock them all together. When I put it all together on stage, I had screws with me to hold it together, but it was so tight that I didn't need them.

My goals for the year are a total failure. I'll start a thread in a few weeks admitting to this, but the short of the story is that I kept getting distracted and did other things, or spent money on things that I didn't expect to buy.

As for moving, it's part of our long term plans. When we travel, we're also looking for our dream home location. This place is our retirement fund and when it's all said and done, we hope to sell it for a fair amount. Hopefully in 20 years, we just might end up being your neighbor. LOL

I like the material choice. Too often are decorations heavy to move and difficult to store, the insulation was a great idea.
