I have been a member for several years and just want to express what a great resource this is. I go to other Forums (truck, welding, etc) and often read replies with "attitudes" written by people who seems more interested in bragging about their credentials than answering the questions. Some replies get quite nasty and offensive, even confrontational. I must say that no matter how trivial or basic some of the threads on TBN seem, the replies are always positive, helpful, and respectful. I never read any replies that are written with any malice or superiority. Just knowledgeable people willing to take their time to help others by sharing their knowledge. I know that some of my past questions, in retrospect, seem very stupid. But the answers come nevertheless, without any sarcasm or derision. I just wanted to thank all the members here for their knowledge and patience! It seems I have made friends with people I have never even met. Yet as I read responses over the years, I have grown to admire many of you, and respect the wisdom that you so willingly share with people like me.

Agree completely, I have learned a great deal from and received great advice and guidance from too many members to mention. I have bought two additional tractors and several implements since becoming a member and due to the knowledge base here am very happy with the purchases. I have also established friendships I value.

I suspect that tractor owners tend to be a bit more humble and down to earth than other types of folks.

I believe you are right and this seems to be about the only "common" characteristic which is kind of surprising. There have been threads on occupations and such and we have members from fourteen into the 70's and maybe beyond that with a very diverse occupational grouping with nothing being predominant. There are country and city dwellers with large and small land holdings. All in all a very interesting bunch of people.

I'm in total agreement, TBN is a great resource and I also have learned quite q bit from talking and asking questions from the more experienced members. It is because of this forum that I have bought my last to Kubota tractors and two attachments. Thumbs up TBN.

I also look at a lot of forums, for bits of knowledge in lots of areas - and I find so many people in those other forums that think you have troubled them so much that they must stop their day tell you to search, how dumb you were to ask, and close your thread. ( I stopped reading toyotanation all together for that reason.)
I always enjoy that here a search reply typically includes a link, a kind suggestion, and never - so far - any implication that asking was wrong!!

Right on HCJ, and all others. Forum is great, and I can always find something to read up on to help me when I least expect it. Always helpful courteous suggestions from all. 14-70 doesn't seem to matter. Just people looking for answers and people willing to offer help or knowledge they may have. And believe me, there is a whole lot of combined knowledge here. Or to just express an opinion. Funny how sometimes the opinion's are all the same, and other times no one agrees. :p No mater what the topic, someone will send you in the right direction. I also read other forums on lots of stuff that interest me, and I have to say, I like this one the best. Seems there is no lack of postings on all subjects. Can take weeks to receive reply on some other forums, and then it may only be a snide comment by someone who doesn't even bother to read the question. Can't say enough good about this place. But I will say it eats up a lot of my time...:laughing:
 to all who post, and  to Muhammad for doing a super job. Many thanks to all. :) Lets keep it up!

TBN is like walking into your local (hardware, tractor, implement, garden, plumbing, engine etc) store and seeing your freinds.

Then the Front Porch for those sit down sessions that need a little more discussion.

It really didn't surprise me when the people on here were nice and always ready to lend a hand. Thats because the majority are country people and thats just how we are. If my neighbor has a problem I have a problem and it is aleays nice to have someone to share your burden with. :D
