My church

I am not a religous person, I still feel I belong to this church. In this graveyard many of my ancestors, including my parents, are burried. And this is where I will be set to rest when I die.
Churches are always sorrounded by the graveyard here in Norway.
The church was built around the year 1100. So it was a catolic church for 450 years, until the reformation. All the old churches in Norway are Lutheran (state church).

Yes sir, that's a beautiful place. And "Churches are always sorrounded by the graveyard here in Norway." That used to be the case in the United States, at least around the country churches away from the big cities, so we still have quite a few of them, but they're becoming more rare all the time.
