I just got a JD 855 from a going out of buisness sale,with a 48" front mount snowblower,curtis cab,tire chains,60"mid mower,and heater all
for can you believe $2000.00 it has only 585 hrs on it.

Here's a JD4000 Club with other 855 owners...

All kidding aside, you could probably sell the package you just bought, easily for $7-8K without batting an eye... {and the same as a trade} Just for kicks, call a JD dealer tomorrow and ask what it's worth as a trade-in towards say a 4300... I think you'll fall down... You did fantastic!

I think the guy who sold it that cheap... fell out of bed and smashed his head... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I got it from a place I worked at 11 years ago.
They were gong out of business and gave it to me for $2000.00.
I did call a dealer and they said without looking at it,it's worth
between $8000. & $9000. I decided to keep it and sold my little Ford
1220, now I have the money to buy a loader/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gifand still have lots of money left over.Now the wife is realy happy with me/w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif.

You will love this tractor, I bought mine in 1998, with the loader and 60" belly mower. It has been a great machine and I have never regretted it. You will especially like the 2 pedal HST transmission, with that and the power steering, in many ways it is more nimble than my Craftsman GT with the six speed.
