I started with a forklift mast, which was cut down to help cut some weight. I used the track torch at my tech school to slice the 1.25" mast. The I-match bushing were also made at school on the lathe.

Hey, that's neat. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I like the adjustability of the forks. Most set-ups don't have that.
Where did you get the mast?

I got the forks and mast at a local place that services forklifts. That mast was just to massive for my application so I cut it down.

Great project. You did things right:
1. Used real forks with correct metalurgy and temper. They won't bend.
2. Adjustable
3. Fits an I-Match. The Speeco and I-Match hitch is great.

Please post your pictures in the thread "POST YOUR PICTURES OF FORKS".

I started with a 3pt forklift for my Speeco, and later converted it to fit both Speeco/I-match and also Bobtach. Now it works on front or back.
