I’m in the process of installing a w r long 3rd function and would like to use the factory loader accessory plug for supplying power to the solenoid switch.

Anyone know what kind of plug this is or where I can find one?

If you can’t find the exact match you might want to look into going to a different connector. My third function used a two pin connector and a single pin. I cut both off and went to a three pin.

Are you sure that is an accessory plug for the loader? Where specifically on the tractor is that plug?

Also, does your joystick already have a button?

IF that is just a fused connector and you still have to put your own button on the joystick.....having that connector between the joystick and tractor does no good. You would never need to remove that connection.

You need a connector between the joystick and the valve if you mount the valve on the part of the loader that comes off.

With regard to your picture....it looks like BOTH halves of the plug are already there. And all you need are the appropriate connector pins.

This is an accessory plug according to the kubota manual. I can only assume it’s for a factory or land pride 3rd function. It’s only one side of the connector. The black round plugs are rubber and just there to keep the dust out. I’m not sure what you mean by it not doing me any good. My plan is to plug the third function switch into it. I’ve already checked the voltage and fuse to make sure it will work properly.

When I say its not doing any good......I mean the ability to unplug it.

Usually the power supply to the joystick doesnt need unplugged when unhooking the loader from the tractor....because the joystick also remains with the tractor. Therefore if you simply hardwired it....rather than try and source the plug....it would make no difference.

I did read through some of the landpride install documents for kubotas, and it appears that the landpride kits DO plug into that connector though. So it may be as simple as sourcing a kit from your dealer that is plug and play without splicing wires

Oh, I see. I’m just trying to avoid splicing wires.

I guess I just need to find the right land pride cable part number.
