Hi All,
I read on the forums recently of someone disconnecting the clutch pedal switch to permit starting the tractor without depressing the pedal, having to climb aboard to start is a pain,,, where is the switch located?

My MX5100 (shuttle shift) doesn't need the clutch depressed to start -- just put the shuttle in neutral and she fires right up.

Found it under the dash,, made a jumper and it starts right up, I tried to start it with the HST pedal slightly depressed to be sure it will not start (in gear), it will not start. Not sure why the MX5100 has the clutch switch and the L4400 does not ?

The switch is located under dash near upper clutch pedal, dash cover around steering wheel must be removed to gain access, then just put on a scotch lock to the 2 wires from the the Clutch switch, and bam your done. you dont have to change anything else, now the clutch harness thinks you have the clutch pressed down when starting..

Mine works this way too.
