Any thoughts on this setup....

Too high IMO.

First it aint 55hp as the ad claims. Second, its a pin on bucket and not a ssqa, third, its a gear model.

I think I got a pretty good deal on my machine and I know prices are regional... But I bought a 2012 MX5100 (newer model), similar hours. Mine had 346 IIRC. Mine was HST, and had the SSQA bucket. Bought for $20k cash out the door. So taking taxes off, purchase price was in the $18,600 range.

Considering you are looking ata 5-year older model, gear, and no ssqa for an asking price of $1300 more than I paid....Pass.

Given what I paid, I wouldnt be interested unless it was in the $15k out the door ballpark.

Agree, seems a bit high, but maybe they'll haggle. I bought a new MX4800DT as a bundle with loader, heavy duty shredder, and box blade in 2015 for just a hair over $28k delivered, so say $25k for tractor and loader with zero hours and warranty. Of course, I don't know your area, or what is available, but thinking something in the ballpark of what LD1 said + 10% would get my interest.

Pin on bucket is a deal breaker for me. Last year I traded a perfectly good tractor with a pin on bucket for a larger tractor with a SSQA. I added the FEL to the older tractor and I made do with the pin on bucket. Nothing wrong with them but the SSQA opens up lots of options for additional implements.

Asking price MUST ALWAYS have wiggle room for the hagglers. Ask a couple grand more than you are willing to take and both you and the buyer will be happy.
