I just talked to a guy the other day that asked if I had ever been troubled for my hitch being in. Supposedly an IL state trooper had just pulled him over for it saying that it was illegal and gave him a warning! I wonder which statute he cited on the warning ticket? Sad really...
I leave mine in sometimes... sometimes I take it out, but the decision never has been affected by what someone else thinks I should do.
Also, I respect elderly people but if they can't make it through a parking lot without moving car to car then they need a walker or wheel chair, they probably also have a handicapped sticker so shouldn't be walking past my truck. How do they get across the open spots? Do they wait until a car comes to fill it? How do they get from the closest parking spot across the drive to the entrance?

As a slightly left leaning, politically moderate individual, who owns multiple firearms, believes in reasonable gun control and leaves their hitch in the receiver this made me spray ice tea out of my nose laughing. :thumbsup:

There is no reasonable gun control, there is only control. If you believe in reasonable gun control move to CA, this state is full of people like that. Their idea of reasonable, is when they are ALL gone. Of course except Sen. Feinsteins personal CCW weapon.
