Must remove the hitch?

As a slightly left leaning, politically moderate individual, who owns multiple firearms, believes in reasonable gun control and leaves their hitch in the receiver this made me spray ice tea out of my nose laughing.

Thy name is hypocrite.

FTG-05: At the risk of helping this thread go far south real fast... isn't your comment a little harsh?

I leave my hitch in my receiver and my gun in my pocket nearly all the time. There are places (schools, courthouse, etc) where I cannot legally do so, and dont.

I think 'reasonable gun control' is something we have to accept, even though I think law abiding citizens with a perfectly clean record like myself should have less or no restrictions on gun carry, while thoes who's actions have proven they need restrictions should be restricted.

The only realistic way to change the laws is to vote the right people into office, and talk to thoes in office. Lots of people won't go to the polls on election day but complain about the gvmt.

But that was a darn funny picture!

Speaking of mirrors sticking out, I was parked in my truck a few years back to pick up my daughter. The football team practiced and was walking by my truck. This went on several weeks and I was waiting for the day one of them ran their head into my mirror. Sure enough one day a kid ran into my mirror but he had his helmet on. I almost busted out laughing but held it in.

I take my hitch out to protect my shins, not others.

The pallets were in the field to climb over a fence, then someone took the fence down.

When I saw the picture I thought that maybe someone was training their dog to do some obstacles.

It was harsh, 'cause I accidentally posted it twice? Wonder how that happened.

And it's already against the law (federal) for criminals to have guns, so what's the purpose of gun control, other than people control?

Just like hitch control, it's not about hitches, it's about telling someone what to in order to "fix" some perceived problem; that's actually only a problem for morons who walk too close to vehicles plus don't bother to pay attention. How many people have seen that video of that idiot woman walking right into a water fountain? Should we now ban water fountains???

Geez....I am the most pro 2nd amendment guy around but I fail to see what gun control has to do with leaving a draw bar installed...I, nor anyone else, asked for a law about removing them...I personally feel that there absolutely no reason to have them installed when there is no trailer, and won't be a trailer attached unless it's on your property..Then it's your shins, not mine...

And the crap about mirrors being the same thing, if your mirrors are 1 foot off the ground then I'll give your that..I don't bump into or touch other people's trucks ever in parking lots, but there are times that I have to get to my tailgate and have to watch some rotted out ball and drawbar in HD's parking lot on a truck that hasn't towed anything for years based on the rot on the ball.

Whatever.

Sounds like advocating a 'control' based on the exception?

IE wanting hitches removed because you've seen a rusty one at HD??
