None at this time.
For "beggers" that is. We are being deluged by phone calls with no message, sometimes even three calls from the same caller on a single day. Same with my email. Those "make" all of this money type of emails. My answering machine and my email junk box sort out the trash. I was just kind of wondering why the frequency goes up and down?

I don't know any answers, but we sure get lots of phone calls from the same caller "about your current credit card account". The recorded female voice says she can lower the interest we pay. Since we don't pay any interest, I don't know how they could do that.

Maybe they want to start paying you to use your card.

I could have sold my Time-Share a dozen times. Problem is, I don't have one, never did.

they're 'fudging' the caller ID too. I've been getting a call from "Northern Telecom" on the ID. I know that company is a maker of electronics and private phone systems as I bought a couple of their PBX systems before I retired. Now the recorded message is offering to help me make $2500 a week from my home.....then I hang up.

I'm self employed and have had the same business number for 25 years now. So, I'm on just about every call list you can imagine. The rudest, most annoying calls I get are from the "Wall Street" brokerage firms that want me to switch all of my investments over to them. I generally just say "not interested, please take me off your call list" and I'm amazed at how often they either argue with me or curse at me when hanging up.

I also get countless calls to A) move my office, B) re-roof my building, C) buy all kinds of office supplies... toner, paper, etc. D) change my "merchant account" for lower rates on the credit cards I accept (which is none) and D) professional education services.

The calls are generally heaviest on T,W,Th. Monday's and Friday's are generally fairly quiet.

When people call and say they want to talk to whoever is in charge of ____________, I generally tell them that all of those decisions are made by our parent company office in Shang-Hei. I've only ever had one guy actually question that.

I will also tell the people wanting to talk to whoever is in charge of our electric / gas / etc. bill that we don't use electricity, gas, etc.

My answer to the "they want to talk to whoever is in charge" is- I give them the local prayer # to call.

We have been getting a recorded message from the same guy in New York 2 or 3 times a week for about a month asking for $25 or $50. I don't know how he got our number. He promises to do a lot of things but something sounds fishy.

Our 'season' for calls is the month (June) leading up to tax-time. Constant charities looking for donations which can be applied to your tax = it drives you mad but charities are not included on our national 'no call' database/list.

Although I have been receiving an almost daily call on my landline @ about 1130ish. I let it go to the answering machine and there's never a message.

Been getting quite a few of those calls. Most are from over seas claiming to be Microsoft tech support. Had a missed call on my cell. Was a local number so I called it back. Ended up sending the dude a screen shot of my call log, to prove his number called me first.
