Multi G134

I have a 1992 ford 1620 HST it calls for G134 hydraulic fluid but I can’t find any. Is there a alternative? I have never changed the fluid, do you just drain and fill, change the filters or are there specific things you need to do? Thanks

New Holland dealers sell it as MultiGrade 134™ Hydraulic Transmission Oil, but any good grade like Shell Rotella HD, Mobil Delvac, Deere Hygard, Kubota UDT, Tractor Supply Traveler will work fine.

most any tractor hydraulic transmission fluid would work.

Don’t get the old 303 junk.

It’s also called Hy-Gard, (Deere), Hy-Tran (IH), perma-tran (MF), tractor trans, trans/hydraulic, or UTTF.

Dealer fluid is always good, but any fluid the farm stores list as meeting current specs is ok.

If it’s rated for wet brakes you’re good.

Yep.
I have experience with those Tractor Tech listed....New Holland 134, Shell, Mobil, Deere, and Kubota hydraulic transmission oils. All are excellent. I've never used the Traveler brand from Tractor Supply, but I don't have anything against it. My bias is to stay with the premium brands I know.
