I think you're right about the formula, and I think it has to do with the innefficiencies of gear type pumps. It's been a little while since my selling days with Bobcat. I may also be wrong in this, but I thought that you plugged in .95 for a piston pump as well. Everything being the same, I agree with you on the sales pitch. I used to have a job to do, and I used everything I could. Now I find it much more rewarding teaching middle schoolers algebra equations and pushing dirt in my spare time.

Has anyone ever demo'd a RC100 and a RC85. They both have the same numbers in hyd. pressure and flow, so I wonder how much difference there is when running a mulching head.
