Good morning Guys and Gals. I need a few opinions please.
After Selling out and Retiring from the Ready Mix Concrete Business I decided to go into the Brush cleaning Business.
I bought a Kubota 95s2 with Land Shark Extreme and a Big Turbo Saw. I use these on my Ranch and have been doing quite a bit of work for the Public.
I have a job coming up that is about 26 acres. I have done about three acres to show the Landowner what I can do and the cost.
With my equipment I spent about 6.5 hours cleaning One Acre to the customer satisfaction. I mowed the brush, cut about 50 -60 trees up to about 8 inches then piled all the trash.

My questions
Would this job be more efficient using a mulcher on my Kubota. He is adding in the cost of doing away with the brush piles.

My local dealers have Loftness, FAE, or Fecon Mulchers available. One also has a used Seppi mulcher that looks in good condition but is only 5 foot.

Which mulcher would be the best fit for my 95 s2? Except for the used Seppi all the others are within $7000 price wise. The Loftnees the cheapest and the Fecon the highest.
The FAE is in the middle but has 24 month 0% financing. I can use their money cheaper than I can use mine. :)

What do you think?

I went through the same analysis back when. I am not up on the 95-2 but looked at the 90-2 when it was out. I went with another brand. However I looked at the mulchers and went with Fecon. It is a beast and could not be happier.

Which one has the hyd flow that matches your machine the best? Have you considered renting a machine for this job and going from their. I know most say to get a dedicated mulcher that can do other tasks vs an other task machine that can mulch too.

The cat 299d with forestry package is nasty for that size machine. It also has all the guards and systems in place to help keep filters clean and machine from burning.

If it was me, I'd rent for a month to do that job and see which mulching head works best. Might not make as much money on the project, just the knlowdge can help you from spending 20+k on something that isn't a good match
