I just wanted to comment on the input and all the other posts about muffler mods. I did some reading and u-tube vids and did a mod on my 039 and wow it cut like my 044. So I did a mod on my 044 and it turned into a screaming beast. I actually laugh sometimes while cutting up a 20" red elm or oak. So I bought a different carb for my 026Pro and did the mod and it acts like my 034 now. lastly I did the 034super and it cuts like the old 039 used to. I'm shocked at what the difference is by just opening up the pipe and resetting the carb. My saws are now a step up in performance than they were 2 months ago. ( little louder though ) Great info from you guys on here..

I did a muff mod on my husky 450. That saw only has one nut but now it cut like it has three.
