where can I get a manual as the one on another post my splitter dosen't have a cap but has a pet cock that you open when you use the splitter I don't know how to fill the splitter HELP it is a 5 hp honda I don't know anything else as just about everything is worn off

Welcome to TBN! First, we're gonna need more info on your splitter, and I think your gonna need to be a little more clear on what your talking about. If your talking about bleeding the air from your cylinder, it will self bleed, all you need to do is run the hydraulics. If your talking about filling the hydraulics, we need details or pics.

Going off the parts break down of a MTD splitter, at the rear of the cylinder the is a filler tube assembly. But not knowing a model number or anything, I don't know if this is even close. Look at part 101. Parts and Diagrams for MTD Split-It Mdl 248-642-031
