Well for anyone with a 5 series curious of what it looks like with out the loader. I removed mine finally. Very easy to do and convenient. I’ll be removing it way more often.
tillage tractor , vegetable farming. I mainly use this tractor for tilling , shaping beds , and transplanting. Some of the rows butt up close to ditch’s with trees. So the loader is in the way of view and turning around a lot. These days I really only use it to lift full Ibc totes of fluid.Why?![]()

Exact feeling. My dealer was great until the tractor hit my driveway. I have a 45hp nh I use for most of my chores.Easy peasy. Good to know. I have no present plans to remove my FEL, but you never can be sure at some
point I won't need too. Currently rotate bucket, grapple, hay spear and pallet forks....can't imagine not
having FEL attached. MT573 has turned out to be a pretty solid machine ( now if LS had solid dealers
everything would be great...but that's off topic). Enjoy yours!

I have a Tc45da. Absolutely love it. That tractor is hard to consider a compact compared to what I use it for. It had a add on cab. It was a local guys and they used it for rental , logging business , contracting jobs, and snow removal. Has over 5k but still going strong. Mostly had a pto winch and a 72 ea wicked grapple on it. They had two identical setups for logging. Also exact feeling. I have a NH TC40D open station for in the woods and light shredder work. But when it
gets hot here....there's nothing like an a/c cab.![]()
I removed the loader yesterday before tilling. Tilled a few rows of flooded out broccoli and cauliflower in. So much nicer when I get to the ends by the trees. Plenty of room to run out with out the loader frame on.The loader is a lot of weight and obstruction out front.
The 1000lbs of weight out front make it bounce like a teeter totter a lot when mowing bumpy trails or tilling fields.
The 5’ of distance out front is a problem tilling my food plots in the woods and try to turn.
My 2 series tractor feels more like a go cart than a tractor for things like pulling my dump trailer when the loader is off.
If you have a tiller, try it both with and without your loader. I much prefer tilling and mowing my trails with it off.
