MT300-D hydraulics question...

I have an old MT300d that came with a KMW 116 loader. The loader control valve has two sticks, the linkages are really sloppy and it has a lot of leaks. I'm sure I could rebuild it but I would rather have a single joystick.

I don't know what type of hydraulic system this tractor has. Open or closed center?

Can new loader valves be configured for either open or closed center or do you have to order one or the other?

How about ports sizes and thread configurations? Are they standard? My hoses are pretty old so I suppose I could get new hoses to match whatever valve I get.

Any tips or advice on choosing a loader valve would be appreciated. I'm a good parts changer but I'm no hydraulics whiz. I don't want to end up getting something totally incompatible.

Your system will be OPEN CENTER

Usually they are either one or the other...but here is one at the SURPLUS CENTER that will fit your machine perfectly. It has all the right things for your FEL.

Nothing is "standard" but getting new hoses while you have everything apart is a smart move. The you will just have to identify the fittings on the cylinders and tractor end...If you have a local hydraulics shop they could help you do that.
