That is something that I have yet to do. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I think I'm afraid of having a hard time hooking it back up. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It would have to make mowing simplier. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think your right.

It sure would be nice to use 84" on my 3ac yard.

Yes it would. I wish I had a bigger finish mower! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

I currently run a 6' rfm with side discharge.
I would really like to upsize to an 84" or 90" rear mower, maybe with rear discharge. Problem is coming up with the $$$ ..

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

Great pictures!! I love that big mower. Looks like a blast. When my Sears dies I will have a finish mower for the back. That extra weight looked like to me it was no handicap while mowing your yard. So much for that old myth that a heavy tractor is no good for mowing. The extra weight just makes it ride that much better.

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

RedDog we never mow with the loader in place. It's very easy to take off and reinstall and the TC-40D handles more like a sports car without it when mowing. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Try mowing once without it and I think you'll agree with me......

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

Soundguy,

It doesn't mow to bad, but definitely could use a good sharpening of the blades. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Free was the best part about it!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

Oops. That was supposed to be the small picture - I'll change it. No AC for me, that's the low profile cab without AC but all the windows open including the front.

Fuel tank does come as a refreshing change to my IH484 which also has a high tank. Just fitted the stereo /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

I finally took the loader off. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It was pretty easy to take off, and easier mowing,, which I knew it would be. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think I will be putting it on and off quite a bit now. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: Mowing with a \"HEAVY\" tractor!!

Cool that you posted these pics after having said many times that you mow with your DK65. I'm not sure everyone actually believed you do! I was going to comment that you need to sharpen those blades, but I see you posted that you know that. Thanks for the pics.

Boy, I'll say. At almost 2MB, I send my condolences to all you dial-up guys. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Those are some real mowing monsters in this thread. Sure beats the Cub Cadet 2166 I use. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

You mean there are non-believers on here. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I found a used fold up Woods finish mower close by, but $7500 scared me. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
