I Have a 48 inch mower deck that I use a two wheel cart like the type you buy for moving freight around a warehouse. I stand it up on edge slip the cart under it, move it to where i want to store it till the next use. I leave it on the cart (dolly) till I need it again.
Paid $5 for the thing at a garage sale. Works great! I can leave it upright or lay it down. Upright it has a low profile and can be set against a wall.
