Mowing Mower deck lift adjustment

I own a JD 2320 with a 62D mower deck. When in raised position, deck is suppose to be 1/16" from frame, but is actually over 2" causing problems with dragging when mower not in use.. In reading the manual, there is no explanation on how to adjust the lift to raise it...only how to lower it. Does anyone know how I might make this adjustment?

There have been a LOT of posts in the past about how to correctly set the mower deck height.. I dont think any dealer knows how to correctly set up the MMM.. lol

Search for 2320 and mmm adjustments.. OR click on my name and go to the list of all my posts.. You may need to go back about a year or so - but you will find them several with detailed instructions on how to get it adjusted

It took a while but i finally got my deck adjusted correctly so that the knob on the floor would actually 'lock' the mmm in the up position and the knob could be used to set the mowing height..
