I noticed a small (about 1/2"), hairline crack on my mower deck by the exit chute. It is toward the rear part of the deck, just in front and slightly above the right anti-scalp roller mount, inside the curve in the metal. I've been watching the crack for signs of it getting bigger for about about a month with no change. The tractor is a B2400 w/60" mm mower with 190hrs.

Should I do something or wait and see what happens?

Gomez,
If you don't want to go to the trouble of getting it welded, take a 1/8" drill and drill a hole at the end of the crack. That will stop the crack a lot of the time "IF" the stress has been been relieved by the crack already.

Drilling the deck to stop the crack is good. Later you can have it welded. Kubota decks have plenty of metal in them so it should be a easy repair.
