I found out today that I can pick up and move 60 pcs of rough 2"x4" x 11' 6" up a small hill closer to my garage build . That is the average length give or take in the pile. Wasn't really sure how much the lift weighed at that point or if it would take it but no real problem.
The loader was a little bit soggy but the tractor lifted and curled it no problem . I came up with 18 lbs per pc of air dried 2x4 from an online chart so 1080 for all of it. Plus the forks that would be getting close to my 1600 lb lift at the pins capacity. As you can see I have my little lumber yard jammed up good and proper. There is another sizable lift of 1 inch boards directly behind all the 2x4 . I really need to get sawing as the tree clearing and log pulling is done . Never enough time ! Really liking these forks though.

Yes forks are super handy! That backhoe on there will give you some very good counter weight for those heavy lifts.
