Moving a cargo container

   / Moving a cargo container #41
This is how I moved my 40' container.

First I built this tool to lift it.

Then I lifted the front and pulled in position.

That, my friend, is using yer noggin.:thumbsup:

I have been asked several times to assist in moving conexs but never have. I figure the rollback guys are in a better position than I to do that but, this thread got me to thinking about it. It wouldn't take much to build a cradle with axles that (once lifted) could be placed under the conex and then pull the conex to the desired location. But rethinking it, if I did build such a contraption, it most likely wouldn't get used unless someone wanted to borrow it. Nah, think I'll just pass on that. ;)
