kubota L2900
I have a L 2900 with a loader and would like to mount a 6 or 7ft snow blade.Has anyone have expierence with this and can I mount the blade on/in the loader bucket or should the bucket come off and mount the plow on the arms.I intend on using the tractor hyd system to operate the plow. Tks John

The side load that the plow will put on the loader arms is not good... The farther out (like in front of the bucket) the worse it is going to be...
You would be better off removing the loader and mounting to the tractor frame.

This is my set up on my B series...with a 6.5 foot plow...

Originally manual angle, then added hydraulics. Works great.

Like Kenny said about force on the loader arms, I keep the plow straight and only use the angle with clean up / light stuff....

I also got rid of the chain, and installed a stiffarm, and place loader in float, so loader and plow float as one... (with the chain, the plow would ride up and the bucket filled with snow)

On my L2800HST I did one pin setup for 7'2" plow..pull the pin for bucket use, also if you have to use bucket to curl from getting stuck you can.

Plate bolted to bucket also re enforce back of bucket with 3/8"x 3".
Front plate frame welded sides high enough for plow frame support.

Here is the plow I rigged up for my L3300. I bought an old truck plow for $150 and made brackets to bolt onto the tractor. I use the electro hydraulics that came with the plow. Easy, simple, foolproof and low cost.
