Ok. Got the plow, SSQA and the prince valve in the garage.

I have the blade pinned to the QA and now on to the hydraulic end,,,,,

The cushion valve has 4 pots and 2 "adjustment" screws

I assume the tractor side hoses go in one end and the plow side hoses into the other?

Cushion valve should be factory pre set and not need adjustment.
Attached is the plumbing drawing. A&C to the hyd. hoses. B&D to the cylinders.

When I installed the same cushion valve, I spoke with a hydraulic tech at Surplus Center. He told me to adjust the relief pressure as needed. Screwing in = more pressure needed for relief, out is less. Trial and error, if you will, helps. Both sides should move in or out the same amount. I think he said they are factory set at 1500 psi? Easy to do. If the blade changes its angle when pushing snow, and you don't want it to, you want a little higher relief pressure setting.

Well, plumbing it was not as easy As I had hoped. I got all the hoes made up except on 40" they had to get more hose and fittings LOL I guess 42' of hose was enough for them

Anyway, now I am fighting with pioneer quick connect fittings. I want the break away ones but I am having a hard time finding them. Went to two local TSC and one had what was supposedly break aways but after messing with them a bit, they are not. they will be going back tomorrow and I will be trying at the local NH dealer $$$.

Does anyone have any pics of their setup so I can put some down pressure on the blade to back blade? I was thinking of using some rubber bumpers off of a tract trailer for docking

Something like this and then I cam make a plate they will punch square against when the "bucket" is rolled forward

Got it all mounted and working except for the ability to apply down pressure. I have some stuff on order for that.

I ended up adding another crossmember just behind where the plow pivots and added some new pin points. This got the plow 14" closer to the tractor. I used 2x3x1/4 tubing as the crossmember. I capped the ends. Then used 2x3/4" flat stock as new pin points to match the originals.

Overall I am very pleased with the set up. I just need to get my 3rd valve setup on the loader. Currently I have hoses run from the rear remotes for power angle. Ford is just dump and has the valve under the seat

Sorry I'm late to this party but here is my thread if you haven't seen it. Just got it finished tonight. Works well.

I like the idea of the bumpers, I just have metal on metal to get me down pressure.

Thanks for adding your build thread. I'll try and get some pics of my setup

I used Wild Bill's design and this is how mine came out:

I did add some rear shoes to the back of the A frame and it works great.

I still need to find a better way to mount my hoses and then when the weather is better, its going to get a fresh coat of paint.
