Looks like it's leaking where the end cap on top meets the side caseing. There are six bolts on the top. I don't know if they just hold the top piece on or if they are thru bolts and if I take them out the whole motor falls apart. It would be nice to plug the leak if it's an easy fix, but if there's a chance of putting the mower out of commission, I'll wait untill the season is over.

Just a thought, have you tried tightening the bolts? That might do it.
Caution - I had a motor leak on my stump grinder and almost ran the reservoir dry. At 2500 PSI you can loose fluid real fast. CHECK YOUR HYDRAULIC FLUID OFTEN. I took that motor apart and there is an O ring under the top. I tried to rebuild it myself and damaged it while using too big a socket to push out the shaft seal. If all you have is a leak on the top, you can probably order a seal kit and replace just the O-ring. Call Terry at PT and see what he says.
