Morra disc mower

I have a morra F25-6 mower that I want to change the oil in. Does the cutter bar have its own oil separate from the gear box on the end closet to the tractor or do they share oil? What kind of oil should I put back standard 80w-90 gear oil or something else.

Not familiar with the Morra, but every other brand that I know of has a separate oil supply for the gearbox and cutter bar.

On the Kuhn, you stand it up to drain both. Fill the cutter bar with it vertical, then lower it to horizontal to fill gear box. Yes, I use 80w-90 in both.

I looked online, but didn't readily find a video of the Morra. There are dozens of videos showing the oil change on other brands. If yours is similar, it should be the same process.

I have a Morra rake but no cutter. On my NH disc machine the cutter bar is separately lubricated with drain and fill plugs on each head. It takes 90 weight GL5 gear oil.

I couldn稚 see any drain or fill plugs on the cutter bar is why I was wondering. Thanks for the help

On my Kuhn, the drain and fill plugs are accessed through a hole in the skid plate. The plug is removed with an Allen wrench. (hex bit)
