I see local municipalities doing this all the time, using the town front end loader to mount flags on the utility poles before Memorial Day and Independence Day.

around here, if you did that on a job site, or any place of work, you'd be shut down soo fast, your head would spin.....

I have this same thing to do, on a pole in the yard though. One question, how did she get her to get in the bucket and do that. We just put a new roof on our salt/sand shed, and our 580M was a real help since the ladders didn't go that high, plus being able to move side to side makes everything go faster.

Well, yeah, a FEL has many uses not envisioned by the manufacturer. I periodically need to do tree trimming around my property, and my wife, with her trusty shears and small Stihl saw, is more than willing to help - but, after a long day trimming, her balance could falter, so ---- the FEL platform. See attached.

Great Idea will build one with the scraps left over from my new building as soon as I Finish that project!!
