More problems on the 425 Kohler CH25

Well…back again. After all of that work, I’m still having a bit of a problem. It starts up fine and seems to have a very slight “miss” but after warming up and putting it under a load, it gets worse—slight stumble, intermittent miss, intermittent slight backfire…got the carb pulled yet again and soaked overnight. I think I’ll go back and recheck tightness of all that I messed with before as well…

Took a couple days to get it done (carburetors are the death of me lol) but after day and night soaking and in ultrasonic cleaner, so far it seems to be running well now.
And in a side note—what do you do when the float bowl gasket/rubber shrinks a little? I managed to use some small traces of superglue to tack it in place and I think it worked…
