Montana tractor keeps dying

Hello, I have a Montana 3040 tractor that starts up fine but just about when you go to use it I hear a click noise down by my right foot and the engine shuts down. Ive been told its probably a solenoid but that was replaced and it still does the same. Cant really use the tractor if I cant depend on it to keep running. sometimes it dies in a few seconds, other times 10 to 20 minutes after starting. Anybody have ideas or suggestions?

The fuel solenoid may be getting shut down by one of several possible safety switches. Depending on your symptoms, switches to look at could be seat, hst pedal, pto, or clutch.
I would start with the seat switch.
