anyone have the color code for the montana green? have some implements that don't match.....need to color up.

I dont have the color code but I bet if you take a small piece of paint off of the montana somewhere ( if you are like me you have already scuffed the loader arms somewhere) just get a flake and take it in to a paint store they can analyze it and make the color you want. I believe autmotive paint stores have that capability also.

Just last night I picked up a can from my dealer. He said that he got it from Montana and it was exactly what gemini5362 said it was, a can that was custom mixed.

alright............I'll just go out and knock a big hunk off of her and take in for the ACE man to analize....and mabey he can get a close match for the montana green.... need a quart to paint the blade I have...its a JD blade that has faded down to a cow pie color and it needs to get pretty and match the fancy little R3644 thats going to pull er'.....

LOL Drybar you only need like a 1/4 inch spec to get a color. I believe they use a laser to illuminate it with. I have not done much painting with auto style paints but I have them color match house paint for me all the time and it does not take a very big piece for the machine to read it. Like I said if you are like me I have a couple of places on my FEL that have been scraped. When I get ready to repair those spots I will just make one of them a bit bigger to get the sample I needdrybar said:

Isn't there some small part you can remove to use for color match. With airplanes is is easy, you take an inspection plate off to use but there should be a small part or a painted bolt or something. Or buy a spray can from the dealer. If it matches, use it to make a sample to get the larger amount of paint.
