Montana 2740

I am interested in purchasing a 2740. Does anyone have one and wish they had bought a 3040? I will be buying with an FEL. How much will they really lift? Any comments are welcome, give me the good, bad, and ugly! Thanks, Jeff

I have basically the same tractor in FarmTrac trim, 270DTC. No loader, but love the tractor. You can go to "all other brands" and query on the 270. Nice tractor so far, 188 hrs and no issues.

I have a 300 DTC Farmtrac, same as 3040 and am very impressed with it.The 5140m qa loader is very sturdy.With a toothbar i'm digging under good size stumps and lifting them out no problem.Probably shouldn't be doin that.
