Did you weld your Wallenstein??

I did, but just the backplate part, not the main thumb bracket. With the backplate welded, the thumb stays in place (and doesn't break my hydraulic elbow anymore), and if I want to take the thumb off, all that stays behind is the backplate.

Good for her! I would show that picture to my sister's father in law (a retired farmer) who will be 102 soon, but he would just think she was a cute young woman!
