Kioti DK 55-New Holland EC-35
Well I am close to the end with Kioti. I love the quality of these tractors and have owned 4 kioti's. The loader on my dk 55 was originally a 1595 that was embarrassingly challenged in all respects. I have had a woods 1020 for over a year and have finally hit a wall. It is sooooo slooooow that it is marginally acceptable when out in the world moving topsoil etc. If I run the tractor at RPM for any kind of loader speed the tractor speed and loader speed do not balance. No matter what gear the tractor still moves faster than the laoder can deliver. My last straw before I sell out is to find out if I can have a machine shop make ke some gears to speed up the pump . I know some of your guys should have an opinion. All specks are factory as far as pressure on present system. Thanks, G

Take a look at the pump, it is not a Kioti it is an italian made pump I believe. You should be able to get a bigger one I would think. You do have to watch how many times you "turn over" your fluid tho. If you go too big it will get the fluid hot real quick.

Have you put a flow meter on our pump and checked the flow of the pump? Make sure you are getting the correct GPM. That would be one test I would also want to do....

What was your pressure reading?

Went and dove dk 65 with woods 1027 loader, dk 35 with 1495 loader and dk 45 with smaller woods loader just to get a fell for loader speeds. They were all significantly faster than mine. The dk 45 with the smaller woods loader was the fastest. Forget which model loader it was. Got home and fired up my rig and the problem is primarily with dumping speed. It is worse if I am driving forward and try to dump simulataneously. I am bring it back to shop next week and let the guys sniff around it.I was glad to see that the roll back angle on the self leveling loaders is dramatically increased.

You might give this a thought, synthetic hydraulic fluid flows faster with less drag through the hydraulic system, especially when cold. I agree with you about the pump, if possible replace it with a larger one. The airline industry, and jet turbine engines run with synthetic oil in their hydraulics.
