Rest in Peace
I just happened to be driving by the Denton location of Zimmerer Kubota this morning and noticed a new M126X Power Krawler sitting out front. Since I had not actually seen one before, I stopped to look and a very helpful salesman came out to visit. Of course I've seen some pictures of after market kits to make crawlers out of ag tractors, but this is a 100% factory job; very impressive tractor. And then the salesman took me into the shop and showed me another model I'd never seen; an M8540 Power Krawler narrow cab they were preparing for a vineyard in the area. It had a quick attach FEL (quick attach bucket, too, of course) on it and was only 54" wide. It also had a 3-point quick hitch but I didn't get the brand. They were also putting on what looked like a super heavy duty Gearmore Flail Mower/Shredder.
It was also the first time I'd actually seen an air-conditioned RTV1100.
All in all a very interesting, fun, and informative visit with a salesman who knew he wasn't going to sell me anything but still was friendly and took a lot of time to show me around and answer questions.
Those rigs are sure a step up (well, several steps up) from my B7100, B2710, and my brother's Kawasaki Mule.
