i just took mine off this afternoon so it's fresh in my mind. and very easy.
drop the hydraulic all the way; turn off the tractor. pull out the two pull pins on each side of the tractor - roughly below the foot rests. these are pull pins that pull towards you; don't remove any other pins there. reach under and disconnect the PTO at the tractor - not at the mower. pull back the sleeve that covers the PTO and the pull the PTO loose from the shaft. finally, remove the front assembly by using the bracket handle and undoing the one pull pin. this part if very intuitive.
after all that, i forgot step 1: with the deck raised, drop all four wheels to their highest height and turn them so they will allow the deck to roll out from the sides.
