Kubota BX2200
I have a Kubota BX2200 with a 60" MMM. The mower is properly installed and adjusted for height. I have used this setup happily for about 3 years, however, at the end of last season the mower started slipping into lower height settings while mowing. I normally set it to 2.5 inches, but over time it will slip down to 2", 1.5" or 1". Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Andy

I just posted, http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/206620-bx-60-mmm-does-not.html, about my mmm doing the same thing on my new BX2660. E171fish in my post lead me to two different threads that discuss the same issue. For the B series there is even a product issue bulletin and it describes the repair procedure.

I did contact Kubota customer service and they told me that the fix is to use the 3 pt speed control and lock the 3 pt hitch in position. But I believe that this would just be a band aid and not a proper repair.

I did look at my cam adjuster, by removing the left rear tire, and the steps in the adjuster already look worn.

I am planning on taking my tractor in after the mowing season to have warranty work done on the tractor.

I hope that these posts help.

Thanks Sammy KY the other posts were helpful. By the looks of the adjustment gear on my BX2200 it needs some work.
