Yes, another Dougster mystery question of the day!

I kinda hope Jeremy is around! :D But if not, does anyone else have any idea what these two 3/4" holes are for on the ML112 FEL's boom??? Believe it or not, I have a legitimate reason for asking... this is not just random contemplation of one's navel. :)

Please don't ask me what the winner gets. You all know the Dougster is broke! :p

Doug the ML245 has the same holes. I'm guessing either lifting holes for the factory or maybe someone is thinking of adding a auto-level in the future.

I was thinking lifting or strapdown holes as well... but there is no sign they were ever used to lift or strapdown anything. No telltale signs.

Self-leveling? Wouldn't there at least be two holes on each side???

I have to be honest here, most people don't want to spent $900- $1000 for the hydraulic self leveling feature. I doubt that it is in there thought process to offer it since it has been dropped from the 7520 options due to lack of interest.:( Mahindra does a poor job of letting you know just what all the options really are, therefor nobody orders these things because nobody even knows that they are available.

Anyway, my guess is that they have something to do with fabrication, hopefully Jeremy will set us all straight.

I suppose so. Lord knows that if he doesn't have the answer on the tip of his tongue, he'll certainly know where to get it! :)

Well, that's a pretty boring answer. :D I would think you could come up with something more exciting than that!!! :)

Besides, it doesn't make sense. Look at where they are and tell me how they would have helped fabrication or assembly!!!
