I just finished the hydraulics on my log splitter and have 3 gallons of AW68 oil I was going to use but I need more than 3 gallons. The place I get my oil from doesn’t have anymore of the AW68 but they have AW46 and AW32 in the same brand. Can I mix them together. Will it just change the viscosity of the oil.

Yes you can mix oils from same manufacture and it will change the viscosity some.

No issues mixing viscosities....but since you "have" the 68 an are gonna mix 46 with it...it will make the oil slightly thinner.

Not an issue if everything is in tip top shape. But if it is already weeping a little oil at the gland seal like I see so many cylinders do....this may simply make it weep a little more

Isn't AW68 awful thick for Saskatchewan?
