Hello all, I have a Mitsubishi that has the added front loader bucket. I spring a leak on one of the hoses that goes to the bucket and parked it for a couple months. Finally getting around to replacing the hose, I installed the new hose and started the tractor. The loader did not operate. I then foolishly attempted to bleed air at the top hose fitting. Fast forward...I realized that all of the fluid had leaked from the transmission/hydraulic system as it sat for two months. Now I have cleaned the hydraulic screen, replaced the fluid and have the front bucket working, however now the 3 point hitch will not lift. I have never had a problem with this in the past. Did I deadhead the pump? why would the bucket work, but not the 3 point hitch?

Well you have proven the pump is OK.
Probably some air in the 3 pt cylinder and air compresses while oil wont.
You somehow need to bleed out that air or find a way to prime the 3 pt circuit.

Yea it seems you are probably right, just not sure how to go about that. Didn't get to work on it over the last weekend. I am going to try this weekend.
