Mitsubishi MT 2001

I bought my sisters MT 2001 and not sure about the pto. When I have the bush hog running if I push the clutch down the tractor trys to keep going until the hog stops. Could someone tell me what I might be doing wrong or is something wrong with the tractor. I dont have a manual to use to help me with it.

A lot of these did not have a built in overrunning clutch. Some of the older US tractors are like that also. My Mitsubishi 1450 does the same thing. You can buy an external overrunning clutch at Tractor Supply which may necessitate shortening your implement pto shaft. Or do like I do and knock the tranny out of gear when you get to the fence.
