That's some low hours for needing to rebuild the injector or mess with the fuel pump.

Did you run the engine on old fuel then?

Have you tried following the instructions for bleeding the fuel lines? My Mitsubishi was really picky about having them bled properly. The fuel pump does not suck at all, it depends on gravity feed to get the fuel to the pump. Any air at all in the system will prevent fuel flow.
