Any tips would be appreciated! Here's the problem:
-Must hold the rack half open for the engine to start.
-Engine runs great at wide open, but it's hard to turn the throttle down without killing. The governor hunts and often kills if I turn the lever down too quickly.
All was well before an engine rebuild and IP reseal. I lost the original tie rod that links the governor to the IP rack and ordered another used bar (from an L3E) on ebay. Not sure if they're all the same or not. Is there a good way to test that the throttle and governor are working correctly?
